They're one of the most approachable, interactive formats at any conference β and at FOSS4G North America, they're an important part of what makes the event so valuable.
A poster session isn't just a display. It's a conversation starter. It's where early ideas get refined, where students connect with practitioners, and where community projects find their people.
Posters are a great fit if you're working on:
