Saturday, July 11th @ 11 am the Friends of the Light Street Branch will be sponsoring “Tall Tales of Maryland & the Chesapeake Bay: Despicable Pirates, 3,000-Year-Old Oyster Shells & Cannibal Crabs!” Fun for ALL AGES!

Chesapeake Troubadour Jefferson Holland presents a delightful program of original tall tales, epic poems, and songs inspired by the people and places of the Bay; from Native Americans who feasted on oysters along her shores to the modern-day sailors who ply her waters.

As an extra bonus, the branch will be raffling off 4 tickets to the August 18th Orioles game during the event! You must be present to win.
