5.8.26 Sorrel and the Josie King Foundation will share Josie’s Story with more than 100 nurses as part of Nurses Week at MedStar Harbor Hospital. This special week will also include recognition of MedStar’s nationally certified nurses, celebrating their dedication and commitment to patient care.

On 4.29.26 Sorrel and the Josie King Foundation shared Josie’s Story at OSF Healthcare’s Safety Summit in Peoria, IL. The summit focused on helping executive leaders deepen their understanding of the critical importance of patient safety and the overall patient experience. Sorrel delivered her message to more than 150 VPs, board members, RNs, and other healthcare professionals, followed by a book signing.
