We are The Community Group Inc.

Founded in 2019 by three childhood friends, Bernard, Taavon, and Eric, we grew up in Baltimore City neighborhoods where resources were limited, crime increased, and poverty rates continued to rise. We knew change had to start with us.

To give back to the communities that shaped us, we created an organization focused on youth development and mentorship. We first served youth ages 12 to 17 and later expanded our programs to support young adults ages 18 to 24.

😊 Our mission is to inspire and empower youth and adults to break cycles of poverty, overcome barriers, and reach their fullest potential through life changing mentorship and critical life skills training.

87% of youth in our programs shared that having a mentor made them feel more confident about their future.
