We’re excited to launch the Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF), a new $1 million fund providing grants to nonprofits advancing community priorities in East Baltimore, including small business development, workforce development, and other community and economic development initiatives.

Four seats are now open on the CRF Advisory Committee. Committee members will help guide the Fund’s priorities and grantmaking.

Want to get involved? Complete the CRF Advisory Committee Questionnaire & Interest Form to share your background, experience, connection to the community, and interest in serving.

Community members are invited to join us for a special virtual informational meeting to learn more about the fund, how it will work, and how it can bring resources and new opportunities to East Baltimore.

The meeting will also offer an opportunity to ask questions and learn how community members can stay involved as this work moves forward.

August 27, 2026 -- Today, EBDI and Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) jointly announced a strategic alignment, effective September 1. The new operating model will preserve EBDI’s mission and community commitments while bringing additional capacity to complete the next phase of redevelopment.

EBDI’s assets and revenues will remain dedicated to EBDI and its mission, and its existing development, neighborhood and community commitments will continue.

AUGUST 30 -- It’s that time again! Save the date for the 6th Annual Back 2 School Community Family Fun Day. 🚌📚✏️😆

This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before as we support children and families preparing for the new school year.

🎄Have you all seen the gorgeous Christmas trees that have been installed in Eager Park? 🤩

A couple of weeks ago, EBDI partnered with Lillibridge for their annual Tree Lighting and Winter Clothing and Toy Drive, right at the entrance of Eager Park. It was cold, but definitely worth it to see so many children and families grab essential winter gear, toys, and even hot chocolate and apple c***r!

🚜 There are just a few more weeks left of construction on Ashland Avenue!

⚠️ After that, and through April 2026, Phase 2B will shift over to Patterson Park Avenue from Ashland Avenue to E. Eager Street. Please continue to watch for detours and sidewalk closures.

👋🏾 We appreciate your patience as we deliver new roadways, sidewalks, landscaping, and more to the southeastern area of Eager Park.
