Party for a Purpose: House Music Fundraiser at Harborplace

Support God’s Best Family at our House Music Day Party Fundraiser on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 4–9 PM at Harborplace!

Featuring music by DJ Cornbread, this gathering is an opportunity to enjoy house music, connect with friends, and support the programs that help us serve youth, families, and our community throughout the year.

Admission is FREE, and donations are welcome and appreciated. Bring your dancing shoes, invite a few friends, and spend your Saturday afternoon partying for a purpose!

Today, God’s Best Family pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory through remembrance, unity, compassion, and service to one another.

May we never forget those we lost, the sacrifices that were made, and the strength we found when communities came together as one.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

💙❤️ Happy Labor Day from God’s Best Family! ❤️💙

Labor Day is a time to recognize the hardworking people whose dedication helps strengthen our families, communities, and nation.

Established in 1894 to honor the contributions of America’s workforce, Labor Day also reminds us to pause, spend time with those we love, and enjoy a well-earned day of rest before the busy fall season begins.

Today, we celebrate every worker, volunteer, caregiver, educator, healthcare professional, first responder, tradesperson, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and community servant who makes a difference each day.

From all of us at God’s Best Family, thank you for everything you do.

We wish you and your loved ones a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day!

💜 GIVINGTUESDAY CHALLENGE: HELP US REACH 5% BY MIDNIGHT!

Today, we’re giving our community a challenge.

God’s Best Family has a $150,000 goal to help us establish a permanent community center in South Baltimore — and thanks to many supporters, we’ve already raised $5,603.

🎯 Our GivingTuesday goal: $7,500 — 5% of our campaign!

We’re only $1,897 away. Can we get there before the day ends?

And if we do? Let’s keep going. 💜
Our stretch goal is $15,000 — 10% of the way home.

Because this isn’t simply about a building.

Every school day, we serve breakfast and dinner to our children — because learning is hard on an empty stomach.

We provide before- and after-school programming filled with tutoring, connection and consistency.

Families receive support from licensed therapists and social workers. Teens are given opportunities to lead and mentor the next generation. Our community events allow us to meet real needs with real care. And our new Compassion and Care Team is checking on families and connecting them with resources that bring real relief.

Our vision has outgrown our space.

A permanent home means we can reach more children. Support more families. Create more opportunities. And deepen our impact throughout South Baltimore.

So today, give $10. Give $25. Give $50. Give $100. Give what you can. And if you can’t give today, sharing our campaign can help us reach someone who can.
