is a community-based, volunteer organization bringing recreational activities to school-aged children in Baltimore, MD

Soccer clinics are offered in the spring and fall of each year. They take place on Saturday mornings at Druid Hill Park from 9-10:30am. There are 3 soccer clinic age groups:
(1) 4 ½- 5 1/2 year olds
(

2) 6-7 year olds
(3) 8-9 year olds. Children should bring their own water bottle. No other equipment is needed. Younger children learn soccer skills and play short soccer games in a flexible clinic format. The 6-9 year olds will be formed into 4-6 separate teams at registration. They will work on soccer skills for approximately 45 minutes and then have a structured game. Age groupings vary depending on registartion. Baltimore Youth Soccer.

Our Story

Charles Village Recreation League (http://charlesvillagerec.org/) is a community-based, volunteer organization bringing recreational activities to school-aged children in Baltimore, MD. About 500 kids are registered a season and represent about 80 different Baltimore neighborhoods. Soccer clinics are offered in the spring and fall of each year, and futsal clinic in the Winter Sundays at Bard School. Fall season takes place on Saturday mornings at Druid Hill Park from 9-10:30am and indoors and spring at Bard School. There are 3 soccer clinic age groups: (1) 4 ½- 5 1/2 year olds (2) 6-7 year olds (3) 8-9 year olds. The cost is $55 and includes t-shirt and ball. Children should bring their own water bottle. No other equipment is needed. Younger children learn soccer skills and play short soccer games in a flexible clinic format. The 6-9 year olds will be formed into 4-6 separate teams at registration. They will work on soccer skills for approximately 45 minutes and then have a structured game. Age groupings vary depending on registartion.

Travel soccer is available as CVSC for players ready 8 year olds to High School ages for the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. Teams participate in the Archdiocese, CMSA, Keith Van Eron outdoor leagues; and Vettori, KVE, Freestate, and Premier futsal and indoor soccer leagues.

Teams range in skill level from rec to very competitive and assessments are held in early June / late May in order to place players on the appropriate level team.
