Introducing Isaiah and Abbee Abney! This Virtual Reception is to try to still make things as normal as possible for them. If you would like to send a card or letter, you can send it to The Abney’s, 125 Vivian Lane, Apt 2, Baltimore, Ohio 43105. Please help us show them that love ALWAYS prevails!
Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” God truly put these two together in his divine timing. They truly are each other’s helper and truly are soul mates!
This will be a permanent place (for now) for everyone to see the wedding photos and videos taken and to be able to “celebrate with” Isaiah and Abbee. Please feel free to invite anyone to come to the page that you know will want to wish them well. This is a public page for now. Even the appearance of evil will NOT be tolerated on this page. I pray that it can stay public and nothing but a joyful celebration.
We’d like to thank you for your understanding in advance Due to Covid and concern for safety, this was just not going to be able to be “the normal blowout party” that would normally surround them (especially anything that has ever been done around Abbee lol) They made the decision to go ahead and get married because they didn’t want to wait any longer and/or until Covid was no longer a concern. As we all are PAINFULLY aware, no one is promised tomorrow! They are living today, in their moments and moving forward with life, as only THEY can! There were only about 20 people in the entire church for the wedding. However, it was nothing less than perfect. The most important thing about Friday was it was EXACTLY what THEY wanted.
We would like to thank those that helped get this together so very quickly. Thank you to Dolla/Maurice McGloughlin for GIVING Abbee/Isaiah everything she needed for her wedding. The dress, centerpieces, signs, bells, and so much more. Thank you to Patricia Garner for, within a day, seeing Abbee safely and literally start to alter the dress while she was still standing in it! She was done within an hour or so. Thank you to Kathy Larrick-Turley for making the beautiful, heart-shaped and chocolate, cake, just as they wanted. Thank you to Lisa Hoffman for making the gorgeous flowers…Abbee’s bouquet, the arrangement in the silver cross vase that was at Steve’s funeral, the boutenniere, the throw away bouquet and the spray for the cemetery. Thank you to our NOW Church family for allowing the ceremony and some attending on such a short notice. Thank you to Jamie aka the Hair Gypsy for doing her hair and to Ashleigh for doing her makeup! Thank you to Kimmy Purple for taking such gorgeous pictures, not only on Friday evening, but coming out again on Saturday to the cemetery and to the Griley House. And finally, thank you to Rick Ellas. There aren’t enough words to say what a perfect job you did for our little girl and Isaiah. Just perfect! You truly were the perfect man for the job.
I want to add, that we think Isaiah is the perfect man for Abbee. We already felt this way, but boy those vows….Yes he is perfect for her! Just look at the joy they have found!
