Mission: To empower and/or support the Central Baltimore community centers through shared resources, collaboration, and capacity building in pursuit of ou

r collective vision. Vision: A Central Baltimore community that holistically supports itself and one another while promoting safety, security, and fulfillment. Goals of the Community Center Council:

Create: Create a more coordinated effort in support of after-school time/youth activities at all of our community centers/youth gathering spaces across neighborhoods within CBP's Front and Center Plan. Understand: Better understand the strengths in programming and programming gaps across neighborhoods, as well as learn from each other's successes and challenges when supporting youth. Provide: Provide a platform where all community centers can jointly apply for larger resource asks through collaborative action. Engage: Engage youth leaders in this process. Contact Information:

VLP is hosting 3 sessions for parents & students to understand the City school choice process. The workshops are presented by The Fund for Educational Excellence. This workshop is recommended for parents and caregivers of current 4th/5th and 7th/8th grade students, and all are welcome.
