🎉✂️ A Wonderful Day of Celebration on York Road!

Yesterday, we celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the Loyola Community Center, an exciting new space for community connection, collaboration, and programming!

York Road Partnership is especially grateful to call this space home, with our offices now housed here thanks to the generosity of Loyola University Maryland and the Loyola Center for Neighborhood Resilience.

This space represents wonderful opportunities to bring neighbors together, strengthen partnerships, and expand programming throughout our York Road communities.

We are grateful and excited for all that is to come through the collaboration of York Road Partnership, the Loyola Center for Neighborhood Resilience, and our many community partners!

Here’s to new beginnings and all the possibilities ahead! 💚

Last night’s York Road Partnership meeting featured a presentation from CapEx and updates on our Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative (BRNI) plan, highlighting exciting opportunities for growth and investment!

We’ve heard from residents across our neighborhoods about what they want to see: a grocery store with fresh produce, fitness centers, sit-down restaurants, and businesses that truly serve our communities—not harm them.

And the exciting news? The studies show that this potential is REAL!

Community voices have been invaluable in shaping this vision. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, share ideas, and help shape the future of York Road.

The vision is taking shape. Now let’s keep the momentum going and make it happen! 💚
