The mission of the York Road Partnership is to be a vehicle for planning, communication and coordination among the neighborhood associations, business organizations, schools, religious organizations, and other non-profit organizations, and to promote the vitality of Baltimore City’s York Road community as a pleasant urban environment in which to live, shop, work and worship by working with partner

s to implement plans endorsed by the membership. The specific objectives of the York Road Partnership shall be to:

-Develop closer ties between neighborhoods and between the residential and business communities as well as between all other members;
-Publicize information needed by member associations to handle community issues;
-Provide a forum for the review of public planning, zoning, and proposed legislation that may affect both the York Road Corridor and the adjacent residential areas;
-Mobilize human resources as needed to carry out objectives listed herein;
-Gain better coverage by the mass media of community issues and events;
-Plan, coordinate and implement projects in support of the priorities established by the membership; and
-Undertake any other actions which are necessary and proper to carry out the mission of the organization.

🌿🧹 Great morning of coffee, conversation, and community! 🧹🌿

York Road Partnership welcomed residents and neighborhood leaders for our Clean + Green Team gathering.

With support from Healthy Neighborhoods, we were able to create 22 Clean + Green Team buckets to distribute to the neighborhoods along the corridor to support beautification efforts.

Thanks to the York Road Improvement District outreach team and Loyola University Maryland for helping make the event possible.

💚 If your neighborhood missed its bucket, don’t worry… you will be hearing from us shortly!

Together, we’re building a cleaner, greener, and more connected York Road community.

For too long, our young people have been exposed to smoke shops selling poison.

That's why I was proud to stand with Councilmember Blanchard, Glover, and Mayor Scott to sign into a law a bill to regulate the distance that smoke shops can be from each other and from places our children learn and play. Our message is clear: Don’t mess with children.

Thanks to support from Healthy Neighborhoods, we will have 22 Clean + Green Team buckets available for the 22 neighborhoods within the York Road Partnership boundaries.

☕🤝 Join us for coffee, conversation, and community as we connect with neighbors and strengthen beautification and greening efforts across the corridor.

This week Govans Elementary is fundraising to celebrate students and families with 2 very special events. We hope you can come out and support. Please share with others!

Craft Market at Govans Community Room- Happening Tomorrow from 2:30-3:15pm. All funds raised will go to the Crochet Club End of Year Celebration.

Pizza Happy Hour at Angeli's on York Rd- Happening this Friday from 4-6pm. All proceeds will go toward next year's International Day expenses.

Camp Spark 2026 is now open for young girls ages 12 to 16. This two day fire camp gives participants the opportunity to build confidence, learn leadership skills, and experience hands on fire service activities with the Baltimore City Fire Department. Parent Information and Orientation Night will be held July 10, and the application deadline is June 10.
