Tuesday, September 1 is our Open Pantry! We’ll have fresh produce, breads, staples, snacks and more available from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Balsam Community Center INSIDE the main building. Everyone is welcome. Please take what you need.

Monday mornings are now are Line Dance Classes with Cassandra Gibson-Jones from 11-noon at Balsam Community Center! We had so much fun last week! We hope you can join us and get a head start on the big Line Dance Party on Saturday, September 12! Both are fundraisers for our big heating/cooling system project!

We are gearing up for our next BIG community yard sale on September 26th, and we still have tables available!

Our friends Melbie-Oh Peanuts are setting up with us, too!

We had a great Wednesday Craft Club today featuring lead craft Junk Journaling! It was nice seeing everyone’s journals and a few people starting to journal for the first time. Next Wednesday, September 2, is a BYOC (Bring Your Own Craft) Day. Several of today’s attendees want to continue journaling and extend to 3 hours. So, we will start at 10:30 and end at 1:30. Everyone is welcome to join us! Bring a snack/pack a lunch and either bring your junk journal, a new book to start journaling in or any other craft you want! We hope you’ll join us!!!

We had SO MUCH FUN at Line Dancing Class this morning with Cassandra Gibson-Jones!!! Cassie is an incredible teacher. We learned 4 beginner dances and are all looking forward to the big Line Dance Party on September 12. Come join us NEXT MONDAY @ 11:00 at Balsam Community Center!!! You’ll be ahead on the dances and get to know more of your neighbors too!
