Dean's home (Hereford) update. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to get assistance from a second power washing company called JCSoftwashing. They did a great job and we really appreciate their contribution! Still needed: light electric work, deck rebuild, back steps. Know somebody who could help? I have them call 484-241-5490

Today, The Deviators Inc. is proud to launch Fix It Forward: Dean’s Home Project. Our mission is to raise $7,500 to make Dean’s home safe, secure, and livable again.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be posting FREE items every day—sometimes more than once a day! These items have been donated to help support this mission.

🏠❤️ RESTORE DEAN'S HOME ❤️🏠

For 22 years, Dean's mobile home has been more than just a house, it has been his safe place. Dean is 60 years old and deaf, and after spending nearly a year without heat and hot water, our community stepped up in an incredible way. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses like The Longacre Company and others, Dean now has a new HVAC system, and water heater. But we're not finished yet.

Dean still needs a new front deck, safer back steps, electrical upgrades, door repairs, roof repairs, and a new kitchen faucet to make his home safe, secure, and fully livable. The Deviators are asking our community, local businesses, churches, contractors, and neighbors to come together one more time and help us finish what we've started. Whether you can donate, volunteer your skills, provide materials, or simply share this post, every act of kindness brings Dean one step closer to a safe home.

This weekend we’ll be in Coatesville, Pennsylvania for an amazing community event filled with music, prayer, positive vibes, hot food, giveaways, and family fun!

Come out, connect with the community, receive prayer, and enjoy a great time with great people. We hope to see you there! ❤️

Special thanks to Joe Cris and his friends from Kutztown University. They drove to Opportunity House shelter in Pottstown to help volunteer Joshua Sloan with a spring cleanup at the community garden. Perennial hostas and ferns were planted, many wheelbarrows full of wood chips and garden soil were moved, and lots of construction debris was tidied up as well. We can't wait to start planting veggies! The garden soil and this year's vegetable plants were pledged by local family-owned Hetrick Gardens Landscape & Nursery Center. Raised flower beds made from recycled material were also donated by a Pottstown resident and filled with soil today. What a great day for gardening and helping to improve the lives of others! 🙌🌱🫶
