Earlier this week, our home was brightened by a beautiful surprise.

These fresh-cut flowers were generously shared by an Amish farmer from Farm at Happy Hollow in Fort Plain, NY, who travels with the help of a driver to visit local businesses and spread kindness through the gift of flowers.

Their simple act of generosity brought color, beauty, and smiles to our residents, families, volunteers, and staff. It is a wonderful reminder that even the smallest gestures can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.

We are grateful for this thoughtful gift and for the kindness that continues to bloom throughout our community. 🌼💐

For a memorial contribution of $25, you can purchase a butterfly to be released during our Wings of Remembrance Ceremony at Gateway House of Peace. Each butterfly symbolizes love, remembrance, hope, and transformation.

A smile like this says it all! Our youngest yard sale lover found the perfect ride and reminded us that our Annual Yard Sale is about so much more than finding great bargains—it's about community, laughter, memories, and fun for all ages.
