Youth football Our program will make every effort to ensure that all children with the desire to participate are allowed to play, regardless of skill level.

Ballston Spa Community Youth Football was created to build and maintain a highly visible program which fosters the development of the personal skills and football abilities of the children in the program. We want to build champions for life while providing a safe and nurturing environment in doing so. Our community support and involvement is at the heart of the program.

All girls and boys playing both flag football and tackle football for BSCYF’s fall 2026 season should attend one of our equipment fitting/distribution sessions on Tuesday June 9, Thursday June 11, Tuesday June 16 or Wednesday June 17th between 4:30-6:30 PM at the equipment shed located behind the varsity field concession stand. No appointment needed ~ simply show up when it’s convenient for you (*please arrive no later than 6:20 as we will END at 6:30). Girls and Boys flag players will be fitted for their protective headwear while tackle players will be fitted for jerseys, pads, helmets and pants. Please attend one of the scheduled sessions to ensure properly fitted flag/tackle equipment!

Due to low registration numbers, we have decided to postpone the Girls Only Flag Clinic scheduled for Wednesday April 15th. We will notify you when a new date has been decided.
