Update: 8pm just caught him and he was picked up by albany police and is on his way to MHHS. When they post a picture I'll update to the better one but he's safe for the night ❤️
He's solid white and scared to death. Sorry for the cruddy picture.

This little lady is Anna she's one of our current temporary fosters- named after the hannaford we trapped her behind 🙂 Now that she's warmed up to people and gotten over her total feral attitude she'll be headed to a rescue who handles friendly kitties to get fully vetted and adopted.

We've been dedicating a lot of our time lately to socializing ferals rather than taking in large amounts of kittens as we wanted to get back to our roots and help those really scared kitties who don't have much of a chance. Feral kittens are far easier to socialize and other rescues tend to be able to take them in so we've been dealing with a lot of adult ferals and older kittens such as Anna.

❤️TEMPORARY MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED❤️

DATES: 16SEP2023-10OCT2023

Flower is a long term resident at The Feral Foundation, a nonprofit in the capital region dedicated to feral cats/kittens. His long term foster will be going out of town and we are in need of a medical foster who is knowledgeable on bladder expression. Flower requires his bladder to be expressed two times a day due to a past/healed spinal injury.

Flower is fully vetted, felv/fiv negative, cooperative, used to being in a home with other dogs/cats, and is extremely friendly. As a bonus he enjoys car rides and long walks on the beach~ he usually goes on all vacations with his foster but a 13hr plane ride is a bit too much for him ✈️

Flower doesn't have complete use of his hind limbs and wobbles around like someone who has had a few too many drinks but he's the life of the party, a very good boy, and just needs a small bathroom or bedroom to hang out in for a few weeks.

We've been quiet but we have been SO busy!!

These a just a handful of the kitties we have removed from a hoarding situation in the past couple weeks (a couple pictures of tagalongs that came from other locations to get spayed/neutered). All but one cat has been rescued from this location and we are so thankful for all of the other rescues and volunteers who have stepped up to help us save these little ones! Over twenty kitties lives changed forever in just a couple of weeks ♥️ We couldn't continue to rescue without our donors and followers, thank you for making this possible!

Where are all my frenchie friends? Paralyzed, left to suffer, and then posted on Facebook as "first come, first serve". Blaze is currently undergoing emergency surgery after my sister stepped up to save his life. Shares, donations, well wishes are needed for this sweet boy. Please spread the word!

THIS is what local rescues are constantly dealing with and why so many are closing their doors.

Did this individual reach out asking for information? Asking if animal control was involved? Doing any research? No, no, and no.

Instead they called the authorities on the only individuals doing ANYTHING to help this dog. Sent a threatening message, and then immediately blocked me so I couldn't even respond.

If only they knew my very first call when coming upon this situation was to animal control, that animal control has worked right along side me this entire time, that I have had their full support and guidance, and that what they did was not at all looking out for this animal but instead could have been detrimental to saving him. But they couldn't even take the time to send a message and ask or they would've been made aware of every detail.
