Our Community Clean Up Day is Saturday, May 2! Stop by the Ballston Lake Fire Department (Rt 146A) anytime between 8–11 AM to grab a road assignment and help clean up winter debris around the area.

Gloves and trash bags are provided, but feel free to bring your own rakes or grabbers. When you’re done, you can drop off bags at designated dumpsters nearby.

Volunteers also get free t-shirts, donuts provided by Fo'Castle Farm Country Store and Lakeside Farms Cider Mill, and Stewart's Shops ice cream coupons. Just wear closed-toe shoes and come ready to help out!

In addition, we will also meet all 3 of the Student Scholarship Award Recipients in person as well!

Every year we award one student in Business, one student in Technology, and one student in FACS to receive a Scholarship from our BH-BL BPA.

The cost to attend this meeting is $15.00

Join fellow members of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Business & Professional Association for our upcoming monthly breakfast meeting hosted at Oak Hill School in Scotia.

This month’s gathering will take place in the detached gym beginning at 9:00 AM and will feature a special welcome from Executive Director Dave Mitchell, who is looking forward to sharing more about Oak Hill School, its mission, and the important work the organization does in our community.

Our monthly breakfasts are a great opportunity to connect with local professionals, strengthen relationships within the BH-BL business community, and learn more about organizations making a difference right here in our region.

Scouts from Burnt Hills Methodist Church celebrate their haul on Clean Up Day 2026. The Scouts, family groups, students completing community service projects, elected officials, and residents of all ages are invited to gather at the Ballston Lake Fire House on the morning of Saturday, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮 to pick up a bag and street assignment and set to pick up winter debris. It’s been very windy. Our volunteers never disappoint. It’s fun work and a sure sign that spring has arrived. Always the first Saturday in May. BLIA, BH-BL BPA and the Town of Ballston all partner in the community effort. Thanks to all!

Join us as Jeff Knox; (Owner/Broker) of Sterling Real Estate Group, discusses the Burnt Hills Backpack Program. This will be a fun, interactive meeting where we help fill the Backpacks while enjoying a delightful dinner from Pizza Works!

This Burnt Hills Backpack Program has been serving our community for over 11 years. It is an outreach to students in the BH-BL Central School District, who are experiencing food insecurity. In cooperation with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY, members of the community meet at Living Hope Christian Church on Wednesday evening to pack bags of food for the weekend. Currently, over 70 students are receiving these bags, at school, on the last school day of the week. The program is funded by private and business donations.
