Ball Ground is a growing community of nearly 1,500 residents located just north of the City of Canton at exit 27 on I-575. In spite of difficult economic times, the City of Ball Ground continues to see growth in the number of businesses and jobs within the City. This can be attributed to the positive business climate in the City, where the philosophy continues to be one of rolling out the red carpet and not the red tape.

Heads up, DTBG! Beginning tomorrow, the private parking lot on Mound Street will close for construction and updates to the area 🚧⛔️

But don’t worry, there’s plenty of parking waiting for you right across the street! Our newest downtown parking lot is OPEN and ready to make your visit to downtown easy.

🅿️ 63 parking spaces
➡️ Gilmer Ferry Road: Entrance ONLY
↔️ Mound Street: Entrance AND Exit

On Tuesday the private lot on Mound Street will close for construction and updates to the area 🚧⛔️ BUT our newest parking lot is open and easily accessible (directly across the street from the Mound Street lot). Please check out the video below for a helpful walk through on navigating the new lot. Use this lot (or our Valley Street lot) to park and visit any of our downtown shops.

Join us on Saturday, September 26th for our Roots & Remembrance Celebration and enter the DTBG Cobbler Bake-Off!

Roots & Remembrance is all about celebrating the things that make Ball Ground special! Our history, our sound, our community, and our roots, and what better way to celebrate than with something delicious?!

Choose your favorite fruit, pull out that treasured family recipe (or create one of your own!), and bring your best cobbler downtown for a little friendly competition.

🏆 Event goers will taste and vote for their favorites, with prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place, plus a few additional judging categories!

On Saturday, stop by Frankfurt Döner and Meats, where they’ll be firing up the grill and serving their famous 4x4 Sausages!

And there’s a great story behind them… years ago, Frankfurt created the 4x4 sausage specifically for all the Jeepers traveling through downtown. What started as a fun way to celebrate their Jeep loving visitors became a customer favorite and today, the 4x4 is a must-have in their meat case! So really… can you even drive through downtown on Jeep Fest weekend without trying the sausage created for Jeepers?!
