Have some gently used books and you are looking for some "new to you" books. We will take your books and you can exchange for new ones or leave us your extra books and we will donate them to those in need.

On Saturday, May 7th, 2016 from 11am to 2pm at St. Augustine's Church Parish Hall (Baldwinsville, NY), Girl Scout troop #10134 will be hosting a Day of Hope. We will have many non-for-profit organizations there that you can help all in one place. The following organizations will be there for you to volunteer to help or you can help provide much needed items:

CNY Food Bank - in great need of non-perishable food items. Please stop by and donate food towards this great organization

American Red Cross blood drive - visit our mobile blood drive available in the parking lot of the church.

Meals on Wheels - sign up to volunteer to be a driver or help package food for those that are home bound. They are also in great need of non-perishable items.

Purpose Farm in Baldwinsville - in great need of volunteers to help them as well!

Helping Hounds - in need of volunteers as well pet supplies and cleaning supplies. There will also be animals there to adopt!!!!

Textile Recycling - bring your clothing, linens, etc. that you no longer need to help those in need. All items will be donated to those in need.

Book exchange - bring a book, or two, or three and pick up a new book to read. All extra books will be donated to those in need.

Locks of Love - find out how to donate to help those with cancer.

Also free dental screenings provided by James Jang, DDS!
