We have been upgraded to a tornado watch for this evenings severe weather! Please be weather aware as numerous tornado warnings have already been issued to our north!

🚨 SEVERE WATCH UPGRADED TO TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 10:00 PM 🚨

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 10:00 PM for portions of western and central Pennsylvania as severe thunderstorms continue to move across the region this evening.

Counties included in the watch are Allegheny, Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Mifflin, Potter, Snyder, Somerset, Tioga, Union, Warren, and Westmoreland.

A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes, along with damaging winds, large hail, and dangerous lightning. Several tornado warnings have already been issued across Pennsylvania this afternoon, and additional severe thunderstorms may develop through the evening hours.

Baldwin Fire Rescue members had an incredible time at the Baldwin Borough Community Day yesterday. From cheering on runners at the Baldwin Mile to enjoying the evening festivities and closing the night under a spectacular fireworks display, it was a day that truly showcased the spirit of our community. We’re grateful for every neighbor who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, or share a smile. Events like this remind us why we’re proud to serve Baldwin every day.

Yesterday evening, members conducted forcible entry drills utilizing a door prop that allowed for training on both inward and outward swinging doors. A special thank you is extended to 1-800-BOARDUP for lending us the door prop.

Yesterday evening, Station 106 responded to assist the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department with a working structure fire. Engine 1 & 3, Squad 1, Utility 1, and the Assistant responded with 13 personnel from 106. Crews executed laddering, fire suppression, and overhaul operations for approximately 3 hours prior to being released by incident command. One Baldwin Fire Rescue firefighter was transported to a local hospital due to heat exhaustion. Great job to all the crews that worked this incident in the heat and challenging fire conditions!

- Gardenville road is reopened. Utility crews are still on scene working in the area.

**ACTIVE INCIDENT**

Crews are on scene of a vehicle crash in the 4700 block of gardenville rd. Gardenville road is currently closed between Cross street and Koeffler Street. Please avoid the area and find an alternate route.
