Huge thank you to Donaldson Company Baldwin, WI for partnering with APL this year to help get funds to local families in need. Internal fundraising at Donaldson raised $2600 for APL initiatives to give back to the community. Thank you to all the wonderful employees at the Baldwin plant who raised this amazing amount. We look forward to working together throughout the year and are very proud to have a great local company and its caring employees on board.

In our second half of donations last week, Ron dropped off checks with the School Districts of New Richmond to help pay off past due lunch accounts and sponsor the Empty Bowls event. He also dropped off a check to help with past due lunch accounts in Amery with the School district. He may not be as photogenic as Chad but he tries. Huge thank you to all who support us and help get this money to families in need.

Happy Friday folks! Everyday is a good day over here at Always Picked Last Charities but today is a great one! We are out dropping off checks to local school districts to assist with lunch account balances. This morning Chad Annunziata, President of the Board, visited the district offices of Baldwin-Woodville and St. Croix Central. Stay tuned to see where Ron Roettger, Executive Director, goes next.

We are taking winter clothing donations until Nov. 10th. If you have anything to donate, please text (715)529-4271 and we can figure out how to get it to us. Giveaway date will be announced this weekend. We are hoping to get stuff to people around the 15th of November. If your business or workplace would like to gather stuff we will gladly pick it up from there too. Anything helps. Thanks.
