Adorable Rowdy

1 year old, neutered male

He was not happy about the kitties in the cage below him, so this is the best we could get of this handsome tabby.

Rowdy had a finders hold, but they never showed up to get him. Poor guy, waited for several days in-fact.

Their loss can be your gain.

We are not sure if he likes other cats, therefore we think he'd be best as your only feline friend.

Sailor Moon

3 year old, spayed female

This girl loves to play, all day and maybe all night. She will need interactive toys to keep her adorable self happy.

She was returned for being too playful and at times playing a little on the rough side.
It is recommended that she go to a home with older children who are able to read her body language.

Gorgeous, silly Cece

1 year old spayed female who arrived as a stray.

Cece can be a tad temperamental but we think it's because her hormones are out of whack from being spayed.

She arrived as a stray, therefore no other information about her previous life before the shelter!

FeLV and FIV + cat looking for an adopter or rescue placement

Meet Delphine

What makes Delphine special you may ask? This beautiful girl happily greets every person she meets with such eagerness it’s hard to ignore. The moment you walk up to Delphine, she melts into you for affection. She eagerly climbs into you, rubs her face against yours, and even wraps her paws around you for the sweetest little “hug.” All she wants is someone to love her back.

Delphine is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention. Her finder reported she did not like young children, so this sweet cat is looking for an adult only or a household with older calmer children without any cats. A retired senior sounds like heaven for this girl! She could go to a home with other cats as long as they were also FeLV positive. FIV is only transmitted through deep punctures and bites so the risk of transmission is low in a stable house where the cats will not fight.

Please don’t let her diagnosis to cause you to overlook her. Delphine has so much love to give and she deserves the chance to spend her life cherished and spoiled in a her forever home. Could you be the person who gives Delphine the happy ending she’s been waiting for?

If you are interested in adopting Delphine, please come meet her during adoption hours. Our adoption our are daily, noon to 5PM, please arrive by 4:30PM to complete a same day adoption.

If your rescue organization is able pull her into your organization, please email us at [email protected]

Senior cat with kidney disease in need of rescue! Baldwin, MD

Meet Sandy Z

Sandy Z is a sweet and social senior cat who was brought in to our shelter as a stray. This loveable girl will happily come say hello to whoever comes to her kennel door. She loves to get her chin scratched and can often be found on her bed relaxing waiting for her next new friend to come say hello.

Our volunteers noticed her drinking and urinating more. Our vet team ran a urine test to try and figure out the cause.
Upon testing she exhibited a significant azotemia. She is suspected to have Chronic Kidney Disease. Her exam also showed she had severe dental disease and is missing most of her teeth.

Due to Sandy’s health concerns, we are looking for rescue placement for her. If your organization is able to help please email us at [email protected]

Name: Sandy Z
Age: 10 years old
Weight: 9.8lbs
Color: Black
Reason for Rescue: Medical
Health Concerns: susp CKD, senior pet, severe DDZ, missing most teeth
Behavior Concerns: None known, very friendly and outgoing

CAT WITH WOUND OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN SEEKING RESCUE, BALDWIN MD

Meet Majesty! Majesty arrived at our shelter as a stray so not much is known about her history. She was brought in to us by a member of the public after they believe she was hit by a car.

During her vet exam she was found to have non-weight bearing lameness in her right hind leg. Our vet staff shaved her leg to get a better understanding of what was happening to cause this problem since she was unwilling to extend her leg but no obvious fracture was palpated. Shaving revealed a puncture wound and bruising to her right stifle. No other injuries were found. During her exam she was also found to have a body condition score of 9 out of 9 and a glucose level of 245gm/dL. This result mildly elevated but not quite diabetic, this could be from stress.

She was given a long lasting injectable antibiotic and pain medication to keep her comfortable and our vet staff will continue to monitor her daily.

Unfortunately, since she was found to have a wound of unknown origin she will have to be held on a 4 month quarantine. Since we do not know the rabies status of the animal that may have bit Majesty, she will have to be held on a 4-month quarantine to ensure she does not show any signs of rabies. Majesty’s quarantine date will be over on 9/6/2026. Approval from Baltimore County Rabies officer and the receiving county’s officer will be needed for any rescue partner interested in pulling Majesty.

Name: Majesty

Weight: 15.6lbs

Reason for Rescue: WUO medical
Health Concerns: WUO, possibly hit by a car, 9/9 BCS
Behavior Concerns: none known

Available for Foster through BCAS: No

3 legged cat, BALDWIN MD - Looking for rescue placement.

Meet Patches

Patches is a shy cat looking for someone willing to give her the patience, love, and understanding she deserves. Despite being a tripod, Patches gets around just fine, all she’s missing is a safe place and a person to call her own.

Patches is very shy when meeting new people and can take time to warm up to unfamiliar faces and environments.

She’s the kind of cat who needs a quiet home and a slow approach, but for someone willing to let her move at her own pace, the reward of earning her trust will be incredibly rewarding.

Because shelter life can be especially stressful for timid cats like Patches, we are urgently hoping to find either an adopter or rescue placement where she can decompress and truly blossom. A calm environment could make all the difference in helping her feel safe and loved.

If you are interested in adoption Patches, please come meet her during adoption ours at our shelter. Our adoptions hours are daily, noon to 5PM. Please arrived by 4:30 to complete a same day adoption.
