As we reflect on our own children, nieces, nephews, and neighbors, it's heartening to think that our involvement in their upbringing contributes to their potential for success. However, this raises a critical concern about the countless other young individuals who lack similar guidance and support. Many young people today possess limited knowledge and skills, often resorting to negative behaviors due to a lack of direction. The African proverb, 'it takes a village to raise a family,' emphasizes the importance of collective responsibility in nurturing and mentoring our youth. As someone who is passionate about providing guidance and mentorship, I am compelled to consider the well-being of all young people, not just those within my immediate circle. I firmly believe that teaching essential life skills, discipline, and responsibility is crucial for their future success. My concern stems from a genuine desire to ensure that no child grows up without proper guidance, and I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share this vision. Will you join me in this endeavor to support and empower the next generation? It's essential to recognize that the well-being of our children is intertwined with the well-being of all young people in our community. Your children might not be like the bad kids, but they will hang out and become friends with the bad kids. If that makes sense. I was one of the bad kids and I had all the good friends to ruin. They didn’t teach me I taught them if you know what I mean.
