Garden Connection of Baldwin You are invited to join this community organization, whether you are new to gardening or a veteran. We have monthly meetings with garden related programming.

We share a love of gardens, and an interest in promoting gardening in the Baldwin City area. The Garden Connection is an organization of those who live around Baldwin City, KS and share an interest in gardenening. We enjoy gathering with others to learn, exchange ideas, and promote a community interest in sustainable gardening. If you're a beginner and want ideas on how to get started, this is the

place! We meet once a month to listen to speakers, take outings to garden related sites, or work on community projects. Whether you are a novice or have experience, we invite you to join us and connect with others who want to learn more. Public is invited to our programs. There are no dues or membership requirements. Meetings are usually on the last Thursday of the month at 1:30pm, at the Baldwin City Library. Occasionally, meetings take place in the evening. The May meeting will be a field trip to Compass Prairie Art Farm,
Saturday May 30th, 2026, at 10:00 AM. (Note this is different than our usual meeting day.) The farm is a combination of cut flowers and prairie that features art work by local artists. Their address is 1923 N 800 Rd, Eudora,KS.
If you would like to carpool, please meet at the Jitters parking lot at 9:30 AM.

The April meeting will be Thursday April 30, 1:30 PM at the Baldwin Library. At this meeting we'll do a garden related craft project. You can choose to do a mod podge pot or a mushroom yard art. You'll need to bring a 6 or 8 inch terra cotta flower pot with a saucer if you want to make the mushroom yard art or a 6 or 8 inch terra cotta flower pot if you want to make the mod podge pot. Donna Gratts will supply the paint, mod podge, paint brushes, sponge brush and the paper napkins. If you have a specific color or napkin you want to use feel free to bring your own.
