Simple Analogy—Why we can’t saved them all…

Every time rescue is asked to take an owner surrender- we have to somehow make room on our little raft for that dog.
When an owner says stuff like “I don’t have time to give them the best life” or “I have to move” or “they have too much anxiety” it really falls flat because that means if we bring them on the raft, another dog out there in the freezing water gets to die.

Every day rescue adjudicate life and death by gate keeping who can get on the boat.

Rescues and shelters are the tiny Rescue Boats.

The Ship is our community at large.

The iceberg is comprised of puppy mills, careless owners, backyard breeders, and a$$hats who won’t spay/neuter.

Gator
Bull Terrier

Age Senior 7+ years old

I'm not fully sure about Gators exact age, but he's most likely over 7yrs old. He has been fully vetted, shots, de-wormed, microchiped, recent dental work done, and neutered. Gator is great with people of all ages, good with other dogs and cats, he is crate trained and house broken but will try and mark his territory in new places. He is partially blind however this doesn't seem to affect him in any way.

I am helping out a fellow rescuer, and they are in need of placement for multiple Bull Terriers. If anyone can help, please reach out to me ASAP. I need people who are 100% serious and dedicated to helping! These are kennel dogs; they are all over the age of 4 years and are NOT trained. I don't have much information to go on other than that.
