Today is the last day of The Million Mile – can you believe it? Time flies when you’re making a difference! Although there will be more work to do when Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is over, we can still make the most of these final hours. 🚶🏃‍♂️🚴
Let’s do something amazing today and raise enough to fund two years’ worth of research! With your help, we can end this Million Mile with a bang that could help fund the next big breakthrough in childhood cancer research.
And if you want to keep the fundraising fun going beyond September 30, fundraising will remain open until the end of the year. You have until October 5 to log your miles if you use manual mile tracking.

Logan Register logs miles in honor of his twin sister, Cori Brie Register. During her courageous fight against Ewing sarcoma, Cori volunteered her time helping young kids with cancer and their families navigate life after diagnosis.

Above all, Logan remembers her as being selfless - fighting for children until the very last breath she took. Today, he advocates for raising awareness of all pediatric cancer, especially Ewing sarcoma, in Cori's honor 🎗️

At 10 years old, Elizabeth Fluck’s active life came to a halt.

A passionate dancer and track runner, Elizabeth was diagnosed with leukemia after nearly fainting on the stairs. Suddenly, she went from dancing seven days a week to struggling to get off the floor because of the side effects of treatment.

Recovery meant rebuilding her strength and finding herself again.

Today, Elizabeth is cured of cancer and back to doing what she loves: ballet, 5–6 days a week. 💛

“I wouldn’t be here today without Alex’s Lemonade Stand. They gave me a new chance at life,” Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth’s story is a powerful reminder of why we keep moving forward for kids with cancer.
