Never underestimate the power of one. 💛

Barb Innes joined The Million Mile as a team of one to honor her son Scottie who passed away from Ewing sarcoma.

Scottie was an avid soccer player who proudly wore the #1 jersey for his team. Even after he passed, his teammates continued to wear #1 to honor his relentless passion and positivity for the game.

Today, Barb walks The Million Mile each year to carry Scottie's legacy forward and inspire hope for other families facing childhood cancer. Since 2010, she has raised over $12,130 which equates to 243 hours of critical childhood cancer research.
