The Weather on this page comes from reliable sources like the NWS,WPC,NHS,GSP and other trusted

Weather networks! This page has NO HYPED up Weather....(FAKE WEATHER) ..Which Means I post Do NOT Post weather to Deliberately scare the hell out of people.. IF you are seeing pages that post weather predictions of 14 days or more in advance?.. then I am sorry but that weather page can NOT be trusted because the weather changes everyday....The Weather I post comes from Trusted Weather Sources and I only post 3 to 5 days out.. Any Weather predictions over that is very IFFY ..and IF I post any weather in advance I will always tell you that (We have to wait and see what happens) I do not post things like that and then say it will happen because you can not do that ! The weather models change everyday and they change with every update! So telling people that a storm is coming and it is 14 days away is foolish and irresponsible! I Hope you enjoy my page as much as I enjoy posting the Weather for you ! :)....

Today: Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11am. Patchy fog before 3pm. High near 66. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
..FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...(This could continue into Friday) !

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10pm and 1am, then a chance of showers after 1am. Patchy fog after 8pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. South southeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Just please stay safe and watch for flooded roads and water over bridges and please to not drive through them! Rushing waters that is 2 feet or more that can wash your vehicle away ! There is only one of you and we can not replace YOU ! Our local weather is showing rain or rain showers and on some days possible storms from today all the way through Tuesday! 529 PM EDT Tue Jun 20 2023..FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...FOR YANCEY COUNTY!

(Flood Watch continues) for Avery,Burke,McDowell, Mitchell,Rutherford until 7:30 pm tonight!

Now with all the rain we are suppose to get all week long we could go under anther advisory or watch or a warning! I will keep you all posted and please for the rest of the week please drive slower than normal especially at night you could come up on some flooded roads or water across bridges! 😬

Beware that even though the flood watch ends for tonight?? How ever they are keeping us under a Flood Watch until Thursday afternoon until it is safe enough to end the Watch or Advisories because we have more rain coming!
