Lady Vicki Lynne Kemp was born to the proud parents of the Late Pastor Daniel and Evangelist Cora Jordan. She was the last of five children to this union and the only girl. She has been married to her friend, Pastor Vernon Kemp for 24 years. th five gifted, and anointed children. Lady Kemp exemplifies the love of God and undoubtedly embodies the Proverbs 31 woman. Her favorite scripture reference is Psalm 91:1,”he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadows of the Almighty.” This scripture resonates with her spirit and the calling on her life. She encourages the people of God to embrace the “secret place” and experience the power of prayer. Through God’s healing power she testifies “Prayer Works.” Lady Kemp serves as the Women’s Ministry Administrator; she has a passion for encouraging women to be stronger mentally and spiritually. She also provides leadership on the Board of Scholastic Education where she devotes her time to developing educational strategies to help students WIN. Lady Kemp humbly received her Evangelist License in December, 2004. For the past 15 years, she has been a full-time employee for Kern Regional Center in Bakersfield, CA where she is a Social Worker for the Special Needs population of Kern County. Lady Kemp earned her Bachelor degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Bakersfield in 1996. Along with her spiritual accomplishments, God has given Lady Kemp a vision to serve youth within the community in the area of education. Over the past 15 years, while working in ministry with students, Lady Kemp realized a great need to foster youth so she became more invested in encouraging young people to aim high and succeed with their educational goals. Harvest of Hope Educational Services name was birthed on August 9, 2016, from Greater Harvest Christian Center under the leadership of her husband Pastor Vernon Kemp. Pastor Kemp’s primary focus was to be a word teaching, and preaching ministry that supports and encourages the building of the family; furthermore, to be a ministry that promotes spiritual growth, as well as natural growth, in pursuit of excellence in ministry. Thus, Lady Kemp and her family are excited to implement an educational component for youth in our community. Lady Kemp is a lover of all young people and yields herself to be a vessel used by God for His glory. She has a Kingdom Agenda to reach lost souls for Christ and win our youth for the kingdom of God while also challenging and empowering our youth to be successful in education. Her unwavering faith, compassion, selflessness, and incessant prayers speaks volumes of her character and epitomizes an undeniable and genuine love for God and for His people.
