FROM PRISON TO PURPOSE 🙏🏽

As a little girl, I never imagined that one day I would experience prison.

But as I got older, I entered a Saying Yes🙏🏾 that took me to a place I never thought I would go. A place of consequences, pain, and brokenness.

But God…

What I thought would be the end of my story became the beginning of a new chapter.

From prison to purpose, God began transforming my life.
💫He took the places that were meant to break me and used them to build me.
💫He took my pain and gave it purpose.
💫He took my mistakes and taught me accountability.
💫He took my brokenness and showed me that I could still be used.

I am thankful for the good, and yes, I’m even thankful for the bad⛓️‍💥🙏🏾—because through the bad, God brought out something good in me.

🙌Today, I don’t glorify where I’ve been. I glorify God and Jesus Christ for bringing me through it.

🙌I am So grateful that He saw something in me when I couldn’t see it in myself. 🤍I am grateful that He chose me to serve, to encourage, to mentor, and to help others understand that their past does not have to determine their future.

I went from a prison cell to walking in purpose.

And if God can transform my life, I believe He can transform yours too.

So today, with a grateful heart, I simply say:

LORD, THANK YOU! 🙌🏽

Thank You for the good.
Thank You for the lessons.
Thank You for the restoration.
Thank You for the purpose.
And thank You for never giving up on me.

My past is part of my testimony, but it is not the end of my story.

🙌To God be the glory for how the Lord Jesus Christ has blessed No Handz Down. 🙌With the support of two dedicated Board Members, Deon Williams and Dr. Sylvia Bogney, the doors 🚪were opened for No Handz Down to host a workshop at Texas A&M University during the 37th Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference. 🙏🏾This opportunity stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness, 🌟divine alignment, and perfect timing. Hearts are filled with gratitude and thanksgiving for what the Lord is doing—expanding impact, elevating purpose, and allowing lives to be touched through service and leadership. Truly, this is only the beginning.

Seeing families arrive with their children to receive toys was truly a blessing and a powerful reminder of why this work matters. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to do something meaningful that brings hope, joy, and dignity to our community.💥

This day was a reminder that when God gives the vision, He also provides the people to help carry it forward.🙌🥲🥲🙏🏾
