Today, my heart is heavy.

We are mourning alongside the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and the family of Deputy Randy Hoppert, who was killed in the line of duty today in Porterville, CA. There are no words that ever feel like enough in moments like this.

To Deputy Hoppert’s family, my heart is with you in a way that is difficult to put into words. This is a road no one should ever have to walk, yet one I know far too well. The shock, the heartbreak, the moments that don’t feel real and the quiet that follows. Please know you are not alone. There is a community that will stand beside you, lift you up, and carry you through the days ahead, even when it feels impossible.

And to every law enforcement family and department feeling this loss, we mourn with you, and we stand with you.

As we’ve stepped into the new year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the ways The Phillip Campas Foundation made a positive impact throughout 2025. This post may be a little overdue, but it felt important to pause and recognize the impact made possible through your support.

This past year, we had the privilege of supporting numerous families, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

With your unwavering support, we were able to assist families in various ways, including:

- Extended hospital stays
- Cancer treatment support
- Home repairs
- Living expenses
- Scholarship opportunities

We are deeply thankful for a community that enables us to serve others, carry forward Phillip’s legacy, and continue giving back in ways that truly matter. The overwhelming support surrounding this foundation has been a testament to the strength of our community, allowing us to reach and support many families in 2025.

We are incredibly proud of our accomplishments and deeply grateful for the community that continues to support and believe in our mission.

We eagerly anticipate sharing all the incredible things we’ve already achieved in 2026!

Today we celebrate what would have been Phillip’s 40th birthday.

Five birthdays without him here yet his presence is felt every single day. This foundation exists because of who Phillip was. His strength, his service, his heart for others, and his unwavering commitment to something bigger than himself. Through this work, his legacy continues to live on through the lives we serve, the families we support, and the community that surrounds us with love.

We are committed to living fully and intentionally, just as he would have wanted. To choosing purpose over pain, service over silence, and love over loss. We hope he sees what has grown from his life and feels proud of what continues in his name.

Happy birthday, Phillip.

✨Our merch carries a very special mark✨

Phillip served as an Infantry Marine, holding the MOS 0331 Machine Gunner in the United States Marine Corps a role he was incredibly proud of. He placed the machine-gunner symbol on everything he owned: his gear, his bags, even his notebooks. It was a part of who he was, a reminder of his brotherhood, his service, and the pride he carried every single day. We’re honored to now carry that symbol on our foundation merchandise. It’s more than a design, it’s a piece of his story, his courage, and his legacy. 🇺🇸

Happy 250th Birthday to the United States Marine Corps. 250 years of bravery, brotherhood, and unwavering service to our nation.

This day was one of Phillip’s favorites, he never let a Marine Corps birthday pass without celebrating. Today, we honor him and every Marine who has proudly worn the uniform. His spirit, discipline, and devotion to service live on in all that we do.
