Sports don't always take place on a field or court. Esports gives athletes the chance to compete and collaborate through organized gaming. Players learn teamwork, communication, focus, and strategic thinking, all while having fun with and making new friends.

Week 1 of our Bowling Program was a huge success. Our athletes brought their positive attitudes and team spirit as they hit the lanes and knocked down pins. We are so proud of every athlete for showing up, cheering each other on, and giving it their all. We're just getting started, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

Jacob's Story: This month, we're sharing Jacob's inspiring story of growth. "When Jacob first joined League of Dreams in 2023, we never imagined he would one day be excited to participate in sports," shared his mom, Maria Naba. Through the supportive and inclusive environment at League of Dreams, Jacob has built friendships, gained confidence, and discovered a love for trying new activities.

Sophia brings a strong passion for supporting youth through her experience with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sacramento and her work as an Instructional Aide for students with disabilities. She is dedicated to helping every child learn, grow, and feel supported through the power of community.

A proud University of California, Davis alum, Sophia earned her B.A. in Communication and values the importance of connection, encouragement, and building meaningful relationships with families and students.

She is excited to be part of the League of Dreams family and looks forward to getting to know and supporting our amazing community!

Caps off to the Class of 2026! Today, we’re celebrating all of our amazing League of Dreams athletes reaching big milestones this graduation season!

A special shoutout to Julian, Keelei, Noah, and Liabeth on their high school graduations, to Isabelle on graduating kindergarten, and to Samara on moving up to first grade! We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for each of you.
