Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation A nonprofit dedicated to the improvement of youth and adults through the sport of fencing. The mission of the Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation, Inc.

is to create a sport program in the Bakersfield Metro area increasing both sport participation rates and healthy development of the area's youth

Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation, Inc. is a private, non-profit, sport program serving participants in the sport of Fencing, in the Bakersfield Metro area. The focus of the program is to promote youth sport participation, promote healthy development in youth, and increase youth access to health care and learning. In addition, provide adult and adaptive sports opportunities in our community.

We’ve got the pictures back from the 6th Annual En Garde Gala: Parry on the Pacific, courtesy of Lily Dava Photography—and we couldn’t wait to share a few favorites!

What a night. From an elegant evening at Luigi’s Warehouse to youth fencing demonstrations, parafencing, dinner, auctions, and plenty of time spent celebrating the KAFF community, the gala was a wonderful reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together. The evening raised vital support for the work of the Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, participated, or helped make the evening possible: thank you. Your support helps us continue putting Kern County on the map through fencing and, more importantly, opening doors for athletes who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.

We hope these photos bring back some of the fun, excitement, and camaraderie of the evening. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
