Awesome job by our supervision officers! Thanks for the hard work everyone puts in day in and day out for our community.

On January 24, 2023, officers from the Kern County Probation Department’s Mandatory Supervision Unit, along with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Division of Adult Parole Operations and the Bakersfield Police Department, conducted a home call in the 1700 block of Forest Street. Upon arrival, contact was made with Leo Espinoza, who was on active Mandatory Supervision. During a search of the residence, officers located over 5,550 fentanyl M-30 pills, with a street value of approximately $55,000. Leo Espinoza was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of sales.
