Kern County Cancer Foundation The Kern County Cancer Foundation was established to assist local cancer patients with the significant expenses related to cancer care.

Campout Against Cancer a fundraiser dedicated to providing financial support to fill the gap with medical related expenses for Kern County residents affected in their fight against cancer. Valley Plaza Mall is partnering with the Kern County Cancer Foundation and United Breast Cancer Foundation to celebrate and support breast cancer survivors. 💕

The Kern County Cancer Foundation would like to thank People Helping People (PHP) Insurance for inviting us to your “A Night of Hope” event in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It was a wonderful evening filled with hope, encouragement, and community support. We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the insurance coverage and services your agency provides to cancer patients. It was also inspiring to see breast cancer survivors come together and hear from your guest speaker, who helped raise awareness and highlight the importance of getting the yearly mammograms. What a special day for our community! AIS Cancer Center had their ribbon cutting for the new Advanced Care Pavilion. More care resources for our local cancer patients. They will even be opening an Urgent Care for patients who need immediate support and don’t have the capacity to withstand the emergency room. We are so proud to partner with Adventist Health and be a part of much needed access for our patients. We appreciate not only being invited but being included.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with so much energy, kindness, and enthusiasm. It was truly a joy to spend time with their amazing employees and feel like part of their work family!

Raising awareness, sharing resources, and connecting with our community are important steps in making sure no one faces cancer alone. Together, we can continue to spread hope, support survivors, and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

“Conversación sobre Ensayos Clínicos y Cánceres de la Sangre,” event hosted by Blood Cancer United, brought together patients, cancer survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and members of our community to learn more about blood cancers and the importance of clinical trials.

“I truly enjoyed listening to the guest speaker Brandon Bennet from AIS Cancer Cancer and learning from the information that was shared”, said Yesenia Moran, Patient Program Director. “I will take everything I learned from this event and share it with my colleagues so that we can continue passing valuable resources and information along to the patients and survivors we assist.”

It was so heartwarming to see our cancer survivors enjoying themselves, eating, celebrating, dancing to the Mariachi band, and simply having a great time together.

Another amazing VIPink event hosted by Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center !

It was such a joy to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month alongside our wonderful community. We had the opportunity to connect with so many incredible breast cancer survivors, hear their stories, and remind them that they are never alone.

At the Kern County Cancer Foundation, we are honored to stand beside local cancer patients, survivors, and their families every step of the way.

A heartfelt thank you to AIS Cancer Center for allowing us to be part of such a beautiful and meaningful day. Together, we continue to spread hope, support, and awareness throughout our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of McFarland and its wonderful community for inviting the Kern County Cancer Foundation to be part of the McFarland Grape Festival!

It was a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful community celebration, bringing families, local organizations, and community members together to celebrate McFarland’s rich agricultural heritage and community pride.

Our team was grateful for the opportunity to connect with cancer survivors, share information about the services we offer, and help raise awareness of the resources available to individuals and families affected by cancer.

We truly appreciate the warm welcome, the community support, and everyone who took the time to stop by our booth. Events like these remind us of the importance of coming together, supporting one another, and spreading hope.

Thank you again, McFarland, for having us! We had a wonderful time and look forward to being part of next year's festival!

Pictures from the Believe Walk pre-event festivities this morning! This walk donates $40,000 to us annually to help us pay for patient medical bills. We come to the event in Redlands to say “thank you” and give back. Interacting with the walkers as they write down who they are walking for on our pink ribbons is emotional and deep. So special!
