Guide Dogs for the Blind- Bakersfield, CA Puppy Raisers Guide Dogs for the Blind – Bakersfield, CA Puppy Raisers are proud to raise guide dog puppies for the largest guide dog school in North America.

We receive our puppies at the age of about 8 weeks and train them in basic obedience, house training and manners, and socialization. They return to the San Rafael, California campus for formal train between the ages of 16 to 18 months.
