🌸🐻 Blooming With Confidence Build-A-Bear Workshop

Today, the Woman of Wasco and Miss Kern County had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Blooming With Confidence event at Build-A-Bear Workshop at the Valley Plaza Mall, hosted by our beloved Miss Kern County mascot, Calli Bear! 💙🐻👑

This event was important to our community because it created a welcoming space where children and families could celebrate self-confidence, creativity, and positive self-expression. Through interactive experiences, smiles, and meaningful conversations, and friendship. We were able to encourage young people to embrace who they are, believe in themselves, and recognize that every individual has unique value and potential.

Community engagement opportunities like this allow us to connect directly with local families, inspire the next generation of leaders, and strengthen the bonds that make Kern County such a special place to call home. When we invest in building confidence in our youth, we help create a stronger, kinder, and more empowered community for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped make this event a memorable celebration of confidence, friendship, and community spirit! ✨ We look forward to our next event with the MKC Titleholders at Build a Bear 🐻💙👑

Honoring the Brave This Memorial Weekend

This Memorial Weekend, Miss Kern County pauses to remember and honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our military heroes, veterans, active-duty service members, and the families who carry their legacy with strength and pride. Your sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family, friends, and community this weekend, may we take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served with honor and courage.

Wishing our Kern County community a blessed, safe, and meaningful Memorial Weekend. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸💙
