The Kern Medical Reserve Corps (KMRC) is a volunteer group sponsored by the Public Health Service Department and the goal is the have KMRC Teams in every community though out Kern County. KMRC's purpose is to register medical, non-medical and mental health professionals to be disaster volunteers BEFORE a disaster occurs so that they can be deployed to assist the local medical recovery response efficiently and in a timely manner.
