Last week, our Director of Community Development, had the opportunity to present at this year's Central Valley United Way Leadership Summit hosted by United Way of Central Eastern California.

The session focused on collaboration and partnership building, sharing practical strategies with nonprofit leaders on networking, identifying potential partners, and evaluating partnership opportunities. It was also a great opportunity to connect with United Way team members from across the Valley—from San Joaquin, Madera, Merced, Fresno, and Tulare counties.

This past weekend, middle school students from Kern County stepped onto USC's campus for an immersive college experience through Write to Thrive Academy. From intensive writing workshops and leadership development activities to inspiring guest speakers and campus tours, students strengthened their writing, teamwork, and leadership skills while envisioning their future.
