Approximately $50,000 will be awarded to local nonprofits for capital projects such as building improvements, equipment purchases, and facility upgrades.

Bakersfield Youth Jobs Program (BYJP) is accepting applications for the City Hall Summer Internship (CHSI) cohort.

The CHSI cohort is an eight-week, paid summer internship where high school youth will work part-time with City Departments on important projects and initiatives. Interns will be paid $18.00 an hour.
