On Wednesday, July 28th around 10:30 PM a fire broke out at the Valley Feeding Project warehouse. Valley Feeding Project is a non profit that partners with the community to provide free and discounted food those in need. We partner with many local non-profits and organizations

to feed Kern County's most vulnerable and hungry populations. We also provide food to low income seniors and people relying on food stamps. Valley Feeding has been able to donate millions of pounds of food to churches and other organizations providing free food those in need and the homeless. To pay for the expenses of running the food ministry warehouse, we collect a small shared maintenance fee for some of the food items
