Here's a great shot of the guys at the Mission at Kern County giving Zion his first official bath! Zion LOVES WATER!! This program has the potential to yield such wonderful dividends that its hard to wrap my head around! Zion, the 2 year old Bulldog, will be up for adoption after he overcomes his respiratory issue and is then neutered. Spread the word!!!

The Mission at Kern County provides shelter to hundreds of homeless people a year.Marley's Mutts, an animal rescue, provides shelter to hundreds of homeless pets a year.Now, the two are teaming up. 23ABC's Larissa Wohl shows us how some special Mutts on a Mission are working to make a difference.

This just in from Zach at Marley's Mutt's....

Flora's (one of the newest Mutts) got a big date today!!! Before she gets adopted (or potentially after) she's headed with me down to the Mission to meet with the residents of the Women's Program at The Mission at Kern County to lend her therapeutic abilities. Those wonderful women have some many things in common with this wonderful dog and I'm sure it will be expressed in love and gratitude when they all meet.
