KERNGREEN.org is the home of the Green Business Certification program. This program will create incentives for businesses to take the necessary steps towards current and future sustainability guidelines. This program will remove the financial burden that has prevented many businesses from taking action to-date while also providing them the tools to manage their green efforts into the future on the

ir own. An effective Green Business Program would not only help companies reduce their carbon footprint and create healthier workspaces, it has the potential to dramatically improve air quality and attract the quality workforce needed to expand economic growth throughout Kern County.

Learn about the SBA's newly launched $5 billion grant program. These new grants, called Supplemental Targeted Advances, will go to 1 million eligible small businesses hit hardest by the pandemic. Advance. Details on the new $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund will also be covered. In addition to restaurants, the grant program is open to bakeries, bars, brew pubs and many other food and beverage businesses that may be able to receive up to $10 million in funds equal to their pandemic-related lost revenue.
