Morning Prayer

Friday, June 12, 2026

But now I said to them, “You know very well the trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace!” Nehemiah 2:17

Help me not to be overwhelmed by the brokenness that I see around me. You will give me the heart to look to the future to restore and rebuild. You are the same God who gave Nehemiah the strength. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.

VBS day 4 was a great success. All of the youth enjoyed the theme dance and caught on really fast.

There is still time to come out and see what the hype is about.

We will begin tomorrow at 5pm. Come out, bring a freind, and enjoy the festivities. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

“24 So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.” 1 John 2:24

Lord when replacing a light fixture, the grounding wire is crucial. It prevents me from becoming an electrical conductor and getting shocked. When unexpected events happen, I need to be grounded by faith in God. As I get older, things may become unclear, but remembering my experiences in Jesus will keep me from being shaken during life’s storms. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.

Today was another fun day at VBS. The theme today was sports and most people showed up in their jerseys and had a good time.

We still have a few days left and it's not to late to join us. The theme for Thursday will be Walt Disney.

We hope to see you out, bring a friend and enjoy rhw festivities.

“20 It was by faith that Isaac promised blessings for the future to his sons, Jacob and Esau!” Hebrews 11:20

Just as Issac was called to live by faith, so am I. Issac understood that the bigger picture belonged to God, and he prioritized his guidance. Similarly, I face situations where God may challenge my plans or desires. Isaac’s life exemplified the importance of living by faith, trusting in God’s guidance for the future. I too must live by faith, trusting God for my future and the future of my family. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.
