This car show is presented by Chuy's Mesquite Broiler, A Sign Factory and the Bakersfield Car Club Council. The first year raised over $20,000 to help local youth and adult burn survivors. Some of the activities that the Bakersfield Firefighter's Burn Foundation include sending local youth burn survivors to camp for a week to help them create bonds that will last a lifetime, seminars for burn surv
ivors and burn unit nurses, etc. The Bakersfield Firefighters Burn Foundation also provides the community with information on how to prevent burns and fires. Kern County alone has over 300 burn incidents annually that require hospitalization, in which 40% involves our local youth.
