It's that time of year again and if you plan to participate in the VIP breakfast effort this year make sure you join us at our 3-2-1 meeting on May 25th at Sr. Pepe's. Hopefully we'll receive any credentials needed for the event at that meeting. Yes, it's also Memorial Day but that's just another reason to get together and celebrate the fellowship provided by our joint efforts, and goals we share in our Kiwanis membership. Rosedale Kiwanis along with volunteers from Kern, Downtown, Taft, Westchester Kiwanis clubs, Hall Ambulance Academy and The Field Program barbecued and assembled over a 1000 hamburger lunches for the annual track meet at Centennial High School.

Every Thursday morning.

Our 3-2-1 meetings will not change with the exception of this upcoming one in February, Since we are hosting the February DCM it will not be on the fourth Monday. The DCM will be on Thursday, February 19th at Sr. Pepe's and will replace the 3-2-1 meeting.

Everyone should consider picking up some canned goods to take the February DCM, especially since we're hosting the meeting. Let's support our Lt. Governor's project with the same fervor she's expending towards our goals.

The SDD Track Meet date for 3/26 has been determined. More information will be shared when available. Thanks to Lt. Gov. Judy Goad we're well on our way towards our financing goals for the event.

Our January 3-2-1 meeting will be as scheduled on Monday, January 26th.

Since we will be hosting the February Division 33 Council Meeting the February 3-2-1 meeting will be in concurrence with the DCM meeting. The date will be Thursday, February 19th at our standard location:
Sr. Pepe's
8450 Granite Falls Drive, Bakersfield, CA.
Social at 6:00 p.m.
Meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Anyone willing to help set up and prepare for the DCM should be there at 5:30 p.m.

Here is the flyer for our Holiday Oranges sale. I've made an additional one for a legal sized printout that includes tear-off pieces at the bottom should anyone be able to place them on a bulletin board anywhere. I'd advise pre-cutting them to preclude damage to the flyer. That image ins in the first comment.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

The guest speakers at our 3-2-1 meeting this coming Monday, August 25th, at Sr. Pepe’s. Annelisa Perez, with the Community Action Partnership of Kern Foundation (CAPK), and Foundation Director, Catherine Anspach, will be in attendance to tell us all about the great work they do.

We will also be having our annual Installation within the next few months but a date and time have yet been determined.
