Bakersfield GLAD (B-GLAD) B-GLAD, an outreach of the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc. serves the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing residents of Kern County since 1984.

GLAD is hosting a summer art program, where the Deaf community is invited to join fun and creative classes such as drawing, painting, oil pastels, origami, and paint-and-sip with deaf artists Deborah Kanter. The goal is to create a welcoming space for self-expression, relaxation, and connection through art.
