Looking to make a real difference right here in our community? 🤝✨

Have you ever wondered what a “Local Collaborative Meeting” is?

In Kern County, we know that tackling big issues like child safety, family health, and economic development takes a village. No single person or organization can do it alone.
That’s where local collaboratives come in! They are energetic networks of passionate community members, local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and government agencies working hand-in-hand to build real, grassroots solutions for our kids and families.

When you attend a local collaborative meeting, you get to:
📢 Share your voice on issues impacting your neighborhood.
💡 Brainstorm and implement real solutions for community well-being.
🔗 Connect with amazing local resources and partners.
From North Kern to East Kern, from South Valley to the Mountain Communities and the River Valley, there is a collaborative group working hard near you! 🏡❤️

✨Ready to get involved? Finding your local group is easy:
1. Head over to the Kern County Network for Children (KCNC) website at kern.org/kern-county-network-children.
2. Click on the "Collaboratives" tab.
3. Explore the "Guide to Local Collaboratives & Family Resource Centers"** to find meeting dates, times, and contact info for your neck of the woods!

Let’s work together to measurably improve outcomes for all of our children. See you at the next meeting! 🎒🌾
