Scrap Yard Car Club Welcome to The Scrap Yard. A Car club located in Bakersfield CA based around Rat Rods / PA(Post Apocalyptic) / Odd Ball Vehicles.

Though We welcome anyone with a pre 80's vehicle interested in fun, and giving back to the community. Mission

The Scrap Yard Car Club Council is a nonprofit organization now affiliated The Bakersfield Car Club Council, and is made up of owner built cars with a focus on Rat Rods, PA (Post Apocalyptic) Strange who enjoy driving them.

- It is our goal to provide a forum for the interaction, coordi

nation and preservation of the different culture.
- Serve as a place for friends to gather and support each other and help the community.
- Promote the hobby of owning, restoring, altering, building, and modifying cars and trucks.
- Encourage family participation in such hobby; to promote friendship.
- Provide a Drama free place to Enjoy the hobby. No politics, racism, hate speech.

I am back at it!

I am looking for anyone interested in Scap Yard cc, and those willing to help run it.

I am also talking and playing around with an idea to setup a Rat Rod Show (Bakersfield Rukkus ) or something. Rat Rods, Rockabilly Band(s), pinups, raffles, awards and more. Would something of this be of any interest? And would anyone be interested in helping organize such an event for next year?

This will also include motorcycles, bikes, and custom wagons. I hope.

Possible Swap Meet on the side?

Tattoos maybe?

Or know of any Rat Rod clubs I could reach out to?

Apologies for the Radio Silence All. The truck went down, and Life has really been punching at us lately with extended hospital visits for the son. I hope to be active again soon.

I wanted to thank everyone who came out! We had a pretty decent showing for a first gathering! Thanks to Danny Jones for grilling up some food! Everyone at SYCC for coming out. Boomer, Nick, and the rest of my brothers for swinging by even though they had a busy day!
