The Willow Branch recently donated a commercial freezer and refrigerator to an organization we believe is the next BIG DEAL among non profits in our community. and will put the equipment to good use!

The Willow Branch continues to partner with CAPK to fight food insecurity at the Rio. We feed 250-300 formerly homeless individuals and families each month through our partnership with Capk Food-Bank. Thank you CAPK!

We are delighted to celebrate Serving Hope's outreach, which brings essential supplies, including food, clothing, and household items, to our neighbors at The Rio. Gabe and his crew have been outstanding partners in furthering the mission of The Willow Branch. Today, Big Rols BBQ will be serving tri-tip with all the accompaniments. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Gabe, Big Rols BBQ, The Bakersfield pageant winners, The Apricot Door, and our team at The Rio! The Apricot Door

Our garden at The Rio may be a little wonky, but our neighbors have enjoyed the fruits of their labor! We started with 10 mini garden boxes and added 4 water troughs, we attempted to start seedlings, but that didn’t work. We planted potatoes, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, basil, peppers, melons and now have pumpkins growing! Our neighbors are free to pick veges any time during the growing season.
