The Friday program is so much fun!!
Students participated in Project-Based Learning stations: American Flag & funeral etiquette, making pumpkin purée and ice cream from scratch, and woodworking.

We love watching our KRC students learn by doing — because some of the best lessons happen when they get to roll up their sleeves and experience it for themselves. 🤎

Kern Resource Center takes learning beyond the classroom with a fun-filled field trip! 🚌📚✨

Memory lane: On this adventure, our students learned about gunsmithing, played pickleball, enjoyed a picnic lunch, stopped for a sweet treat at Tutti Frutti, and ended the day with an exciting tour of Bakersfield Fire Station 15! 🔧🏓🧺🍦🚒🔥

We love creating hands-on experiences that help our students learn, explore, and make lasting memories together! ❤️

Conversational Spanish HSC ~ Senora Graciela
Hello, my name is Graciela. I have a son who serves in the Marines and a daugher that is in college. For work I help run a taco shop and have been employed there for 20 years. I enjoy helping others and am looking forward to teaching the students conversational spanish. I work hard and do my best for my kids. In my free time, I really enjoy dancing and am passionate about rescuing cats. I am excited to get to know all my new students.
