Links for Life believes everyone fighting breast cancer is a Survivor. We exist to improve breast health outcomes in
Kern County; educate and empower our neighbors to take ownership of their breast health; and provide care and
support to people affected by breast cancer. Our Vision
Links for Life will be recognized as Kern County’s
leader in breast health, so that every person in our
community has access to the education, resources,
and support needed for their journey.

Friday night - Hot Pink Celebration at Luigi's Warehouse
Saturday - FREE mobile mammograms at the Healthful Harvest Festival. Call the office to schedule your appointment.

Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, wonderful w**e, and a few fabulous surprises. This special evening celebrates our local breast cancer survivors, the families who stand beside them, and the incredible impact we can make together.

Your seat does more than get you into a great party. It helps support Links for Life services for individuals in active breast cancer treatment, including our Grocery Card Program to help ease the everyday burden during a difficult time.

Your weekly connections are here!

This week, we have our monthly nutrition class (if you are enrolled in the nutrition and grocery card program, you will need take this before your third card), and we also have our Spanish speaking survivor group, Grupo de Esperanza, meeting on Tuesday.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Rusty's Pizza is hosting their annual Slices of Hope night, with proceeds benefiting Links for Life. Check out the flyer for details and grab yourself a pizza on Tuesday and support a great cause!

Yesterday, we celebrated the grand opening of the Advanced Care Pavilion at Adventist Health, bringing advanced cancer and specialty care together to better serve patients and families throughout our community.

With the capacity to serve 45,000 patients annually, this new space represents hope, healing, and our continued commitment to compassionate, innovative care.

With an expanded breast health center, more survivors will be able to have quality care right here in Bakersfield. What an amazing addition, and blessing, for our community. Thank you Adventist Health Central California for all you do to support those who need it most. 🎀

These free mobile mammograms are sponsored by Dignity Health Mercy & Memorial Hospitals, a member of CommonSpirit Health, and Wonderful Health and Wellness. These partnerships enable us to bring free mammograms to the community.

At Healthful Harvest 2026, community members can enjoy nutritious snacks, engage with local healthcare providers, and discover free wellness programs available in the area. With Live music, family activities, and free giveaways, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate health and community in Arvin.
