Please join us in celebrating our incredible Executive Director, Jennifer Henry, on being inducted into the West High School Hall of Fame! 🎉💖

The West High School Hall of Fame was created to honor exceptional achievement among alumni and staff while also supporting current students and school activities — and Jennifer is truly deserving of this recognition.

A proud member of the Class of 1989, Jennifer was actively involved in the West High Dance Company and Wings for Life, the school’s American Cancer Society club. Her passion for serving others continued long after graduation and has inspired our community for decades through her leadership at Links for Life, where she has served as Executive Director since 2005.

Under Jennifer’s leadership for the past 21 years, Links for Life has touched countless lives across Kern County, providing support, education, and hope to breast cancer patients and survivors. In 2023, she was also recognized as Nonprofit Professional of the Year by the Kern Alliance of Nonprofits.

We are beyond proud of Jennifer and grateful for the compassion, dedication, and heart she brings to our organization every single day. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! 💕

For the first time ever, Links for Life was able to bring a mobile mammogram unit to Mojave and offer FREE mammograms to women in Eastern Kern County! 💖

We screened 16 women — including 3 who had never had a mammogram before. Early detection saves lives, and we are so grateful we could bring these important services to this part of our community.

A huge thank you to Mojave Jr/Sr High School for providing a location (and shelter from the crazy wind that day), and to the Mojave Air & Space Port for partnering with us to help make this event possible.

Thank you as well to everyone in Rosamond, Tehachapi, and Mojave who shared our flyer, spread the word, and showed up to support women in our community. We truly serve ALL of Kern County, and this event was such a blessing.

We hope to see you again next year! 💕
